ALEC CHAMBERLAIN will be bringing the curtain down on his popular Testimonial Season by hosting a 'World Cup Race Night' at the Watford Hilton on 15 June.
The event - being put on by popular demand, following the success of Alec's Race Night last November - will take in the England v Trinidad & Tobago World Cup match, which kicks off at 5pm, followed by the Race Night, which gets underway at 7.15.
Said Alec: "We've had so much interest, and so many people had such an enjoyable night back in November, that the Testimonial Committee thought it would be nice to wind up the season with one last event.
"For me it's a chance to say thank you to so many wonderful people who have been so supportive during the last year, but hopefully it will be a fun night out too and a chance to catch up with pre-season gossip and chit-chat.
"Obviously the World Cup will be in full swing at this stage, and as part of the deal with The Hilton we've got a big screen up for guests to watch the football with us. The plan then is to have a buffet, and then the racing will get underway after that."
The Alec Chamberlain Testimonial Race Night takes place at the Watford Hilton on June 15. The race night itself gets underway at 7.15, but guests can arrive anytime after 4.30pm to watch the football.
Tickets are £10 each and must be purchased in advance. They are available by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or phoning Nicki on 07780 921969.
